  1. Hola Tati!
What a great giveaway. I recently found the Cantamos y Aprendemos con José-Luis Orozco DVD at a local library and my kids love it. I listened to “Al Tambor”, one of our favorite songs that is also on his DVD. When I put on the DVD my kids run to get their tambor and maracas to sing the songs. I’ve been meaning to purchase a Spanish music CD to play in the car, this looks like it would be a great one.

  20. We love Jose Luis Orozco! We have the Diez Deditos book and cd and we sing the songs all the time. I just listened to Vamos a la mar, and it sounds just as great as the other songs we know.

  21. I love this CD I use it in my Montessori Afterschool Program for Preschoolers all the time! We love "Los Elefantes". I'll draw a spider web with chalk in the middle of our circle and one child will start us off balancing around the web, then choosing "otro elefante" to join. We'll go around the room until everyone has had a turn and they just love it!

  22. I loved the part of your interview with José Luis Orozco where he encouraged us to sing in Spanish with our children. We have two of his CDs and my children love them -- in fact, it was my 4-year old’s choice of bedtime music tonight! How I would LOVE to add this CD to our collection.

I listened to “Mañanitas” (as well as several others) and it brought back so many fond memories of hearing it in Honduras. I love exposing my children to traditional Latin American songs. And I also like that he sings songs familiar to my kids as well, such as “Araña Pequeñita” and “Buenos Dias.”
