Video: Spanish Rap

I thought this video was really cute. It would be a fun activity to do with kids or a class. They could each do their own rap about their own family. It's very catchy and my girls wanted to see it over and over again. Maybe we will have to do a rap and then I will post our video :)

This rap is by John DeMado. He does seminars for making foreign language teaching fun. What a cool way to teach students that they will love. His website is here.

I just stumbled on your blog and wanted to tell you I think it's amazing! I'll definitely be back. I'm a high school Spanish teacher who's all about making it as fun & easy as it's designed to be, and I'm going to be a mom for the first time next month and plan to do one parent/one language with mi pequeñita Zoe (my husband doesn't speak much Spanish). Also, my Spanish started as part of my homeschooling experience from 5th-10th grade so that resonates with me. I'm sure I'll find great things around here!

Thank you so much for your blog entries. You're doing a great job. I like the catchy Spanish rap video you posted. The girls and I love singing in Spanish.

I used this video with my high schoolers and they loved it.
The song was so catchy they sung it their classmates in other classes.
